Srinagar, June 15 -- Prominent members of the Kashmiri Pandit community from India and abroad on Monday called for the creation of a township, a Welfare Board, and long-term rehabilitation measures for displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
Addressing a press conference after the "Global Kashmiri Pandit Conclave" in Srinagar, Utpal Kaul, International Coordinator of the Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD), said Kashmir once stood as a global centre of education and learning and could regain that status through peace, investment and inclusive development.
