Nagpur, March 20 -- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday said that selfish interests and the quest for supremacy lie at the heart of conflicts worldwide, emphasising that enduring peace is possible only through unity, discipline and adherence to dharma.
Addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone for the Vishwa Hindu Parishad's new office in the city, Bhagwat noted that despite centuries of efforts, the world has struggled to resolve conflicts. "For nearly 2,000 years, different ideas have been tested, yet tensions persist," he said.
He highlighted issues such as religious intolerance, forced conversions, and perceptions of superiority and inferiority as factors affecting societies globally.
