Hyderabad, Aug. 5 -- Gland Pharma Ltd and Neuland Laboratories Ltd on Wednesday announced a long-term strategic Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) partnership to expand sterile Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing for microparticle depot products and other complex sterile APIs.
Under the collaboration, Gland Pharma will establish a dedicated sterile manufacturing suite at its JNPC facility in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) to support Neuland's growing demand for sterile APIs.
The new facility will be built to cGMP, USFDA and EU standards and will leverage Gland Pharma's expertise in aseptic manufacturing, the Pharma company said in a release.
