Latur, Nov. 28 -- A young girl who travelled from Karnataka to Maharashtra in panic after sensing danger at a bus stand has been safely reunited with her parents with the help of Udgir Police, an official said today.
The incident began when the girl was waiting at a bus stand in Aurad, located in Karnataka's Bidar district.
According to an official from Udgir Police Station, the girl became alarmed by the suspicious behaviour of a man at the bus stand and immediately boarded a bus heading towards Udgir. She later got off at Murkiwadi, where, unfamiliar with the area and increasingly frightened, she borrowed a mobile phone from a local girl and called the 112 emergency helpline seeking urgent assistance.
