London, July 15 -- India's victory over England in the opening ODI has brought significant gains for several players in the latest ICC rankings, with skipper Shubman Gill moving closer to the No.1 spot in the men's ODI batting rankings and Axar Patel breaking into the top 10 amongall-rounders.
India snapped a disappointing run of results with a six-wicket win at Edgbaston after suffering a 0-2 T20I series defeat to Ireland and a 0-4 loss to England.
