Amravati, Aug. 6 -- : A nearly 10-foot-long python was rescued from the bushes near the departure area of Maharashtra's Amravati Airport, with the timely action of airport security personnel preventing panic and ensuring normal airport operations, officials said on Thursday.

The reptile was spotted hiding in dense bushes along the roadside outside the departure terminal during routine surveillance.

Security personnel immediately alerted a local snake rescuer instead of attempting to capture the python themselves.
