Lucknow, Nov. 2 -- Supreme Court Justice Surya Kant today said that , "Getting justice is more important than winning a case".
While addressing the convocation ceremony of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University here, Justice Surya Kant, who will be the next Chief Justice of India later this month, told the students that," after 15 years of practice, you will ask yourself whether the judgment in your cases could help to resolve the next 100 cases."He said, "The questions you ask yourself during your work will be crucial. For example, did I prepare well? Did I argue well? All these questions are crucial."He added that getting justice is more important than winning a case.
