Dhanbad, June 15 -- Professor Diana Fox of Bridgewater State University, USA, on Monday said gender equity is fundamental to sustainable development, economic progress and effective governance, and called for inclusive partnerships and equitable policies to address global gender disparities.
Delivering a lecture at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on the theme, "Breaking Barriers, Building Inclusive Spaces: Challenges and Strategies to Address Global Gender Disparities through Decolonial Feminist Partnerships", Prof Fox said gender equity was not merely an issue of social justice but a prerequisite for achieving sustainable development goals and building resilient societies.
