Gehlot deplores BJP's 'bid to provoke Hindutva forces & polarization'; Says 'strong leader like Indira Gandhi would have banned the party'

Jaipur, June 14 -- Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday charged the ruling BJP with attempts at provoking Hindutva forces and effecting religious polarisation in the country.

"Had a strong leader like Ms Indira Gandhi been in power in the country today, she would have banned a party like BJP for this act," the three-time ex-CM asserted while addressing a function organised by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Welfare society at the Constitution Club of Rajasthan here this afternoon.
