Bengaluru, July 9 -- Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot on Thursday completed five years in office, capping a tenure marked by a smooth transition between two politically opposing governments and several key constitutional developments that placed Raj Bhavan at the centre of the State's governance.
Appointed as the 19th Governor of Karnataka on July 10, 2021, Gehlot initially served during the BJP administration and later worked with the Congress government that assumed office after the 2023 Assembly elections.
