Kolkata, Sept. 24 -- Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani offered prayers at the Kalighat temple in Kolkata with his wife on Thursday morning, a day after arriving in West Bengal amid plans by his group to explore major investments in the state.
Adani has a packed schedule during his visit, including a meeting with Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on investment proposals and the foundation stone-laying ceremony of a 2,000-bed hospital in New Town.
The hospital, named Adani Aarogya Mandir, is among the group's initiatives in the state.
Adani is also expected to inaugurate the renovated Kumortuli Ghat, which has been developed with support from the group.
