Kolkata, March 8 -- Amid growing global tensions and the ongoing conflict between Israel-US and Iran, the Gaudiya Vaishnava Association on Sunday announced year-long programmes to promote world peace, marking the 540th birth anniversary of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
According to sources close to Acharya Srimad Bhakti Swarup Tirtha Maharaj, the founder-acharya of the organisation, a range of events, including prayer meetings, seminars and spiritual gatherings, will be held across several countries to spread the message of peace and universal harmony propagated by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
