Chennai, June 21 -- Pained over the loss of innocent lives irivate n the tragic ammonia gas leak at a shrimp processing centre at a seafood exports firm in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadi Chief Minister Vijay constituted a three-member committee and directed it to submit an interim report in 24 hrs and the final report in three days.

According to reports, seven workers died and more than 60 workers, majority of them from Jharkhand, Odisha and Assam, weere affected by the leak were being treated in various private and government hospitals in Chennai. The condition of several of them were said to be critical and were being treated in ICU.
