Hyderabad, Dec. 26 -- A major fire accident was averted on Friday at Annojiguda in Ghatkesar area of Medchal Malkajgiri district after a gas cylinder exploded in a moving vehicle.
According to police, the incident occurred when an Omni van travelling from Ghatkesar towards Uppal caught fire following the explosion of a gas cylinder inside the vehicle. Alert passengers immediately got down and ran to safety. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which then crashed into a nearby petrol bunk, triggering panic among locals.
