Bhubaneswar, Aug. 21 -- Ganjam has emerged as the leading district in Odisha in rooftop solar adoption, recording 16,418 installations, the highest in the State, according to the latest data.

The achievement places Ganjam at the forefront of Odisha's growing transition towards clean and renewable energy and reflects the increasing acceptance of solar power among households.

Baleshwar ranks second in the State in terms of rooftop solar installations, followed by Khordha and Cuttack. The performance of these districts highlights the expanding reach of rooftop solar across both urban and rural areas of Odisha.
