Mysuru, Sept. 13 -- Amid a political row over alleged curbs on Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in T Narasipura, Mysuru Superintendent of Police Mallikarjun Baladandi on Sunday clarified that there was no restriction on taking Ganesh processions along traditional routes.
The clarification came after a video of a police officer in T Narasipura warning Ganesh festival organisers over the conduct and route of the procession went viral on social media, triggering a political controversy.
