Hyderabad, Sept. 12 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday reviewed arrangements for the upcoming Ganesh festival in Hyderabad and directed officials to ensure foolproof security, smooth traffic management and proper facilities for immersion.

At a review meeting held at the Legislative Council conference hall on the Assembly premises, the Chief Minister said his government had revived the practice of holding meetings with Ganesh Utsav organisers and was personally reviewing arrangements to understand and resolve their issues.

Revanth Reddy said the State government was providing free electricity to Ganesh pandals and asked organisers to apply to the authorities concerned to avail themselves of the facility.
