Varanasi, April 17 -- Achieving a significant milestone, GAIL (India) Limited on Friday successfully commenced the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to the Annapurna Kitchen located in the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple complex.
This is the first PNG connection provided to any kitchen in the Kashi Vishwanath area, marking a historic initiative towards the use of clean, safe, and sustainable energy in the region.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for GAIL's Varanasi CGD project.
The PNG supply was inaugurated on behalf of the temple administration in the presence of Deputy District Magistrate Shambhu Sharan and GAIL General Manager Sushil Kumar, who currently leads the Varanasi CGD project.
