Chandrapur, March 30 -- The annual Chaitra Yatra of Goddess Mahakali is currently underway, but this year it is witnessing a noticeable drop in the number of devotees compared to previous years.

As per local observations, rumours of a fuel shortage across the state have significantly affected the turnout. Devotees from regions such as Marathwada and neighbouring states, including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh-who usually travel by taxis and private vehicles-have reduced in number.
