New Delhi, May 15 -- The central government on Friday increased the retail selling prices of petrol and diesel, effective from Friday. The move is coming first in four years for retail consumers. Further, the price of CNG has also been raised by Rs 2.
CNG price in Delhi has been raised from Rs 77.09 per kg to Rs 79.09 per kg. A day earlier, the CNG price was also raised in Mumbai by Rs 2 per kg.
Amid the Iran War crisis, the prices of premium petrol were raised in March, with all three major oil companies, including Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), having raised the prices.
