New Delhi, March 13 -- union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Friday said the government has decided to allocate 20 per cent of the average monthly commercial LPG requirement to businesses with immediate effect so as to ease the difficulties faced by the hospitality and tourism sector amid the ongoing supply strain.
After meeting union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and senior officials of the petroleum ministry, Shekhawat said the issue of commercial LPG supply and its impact on hotels and restaurants was discussed in detail.
