New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Dabur India has been directed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to immediately stop selling a range of food products carrying "100 per cent" claims, with the regulator stating that such descriptions are ambiguous, cannot be independently verified, and may mislead consumers.
The order covers multiple products, including honey, apple cider vinegar, virgin coconut oil, sesame oil, cow ghee, coconut water, and coconut milk that were marketed using claims such as "100 per cent Natural", "100 per cent Pure", "100 per cent Purity Guaranteed", "100 per cent Organic" and "100 per cent Tender Coconut Water".
