Chandigarh, June 13 -- A dream nurtured on the modest earnings of a roadside food vendor has found a place on the national stage, with Jalandhar youngster Arjun Rajput earning selection in India's Under-19 squad for the upcoming Sri Lanka tour.

The left-handed all-rounder, whose father sells chhole-kulche near DAV College in Jalandhar, has emerged as one of four Punjab cricketers picked by the BCCI for the prestigious youth assignment. The other Punjab players in the squad are Patiala's Sagar Virk, Ludhiana's Anmoljeet Singh and Rupnagar's Ishan Sood.
