Bengaluru, Sept. 4 -- More than two decades after AHINDA helped Siddaramaiah break out of the JD(S) political shadow and build an independent social base, the former Karnataka Chief Minister's renewed outreach to community organisations is drawing political attention within the Congress, amid an evolving power equation with Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
Siddaramaiah is scheduled to participate in a series of community-oriented programmes, including the unveiling of a Sangolli Rayanna statue at Beerur in Chikkamagaluru district, a Backward Classes convention in Bengaluru and a programme involving his supporters in Badami on September 12.
