Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, July 14 -- Carrying the sacred soil of the capital-based National War Memorial to the Kargil War Memorial in Dras as a tribute to India's fallen soldiers, a 30-member motorcycle expedition was flagged off on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a 13-day journey to commemorate the valour and sacrifice of the heroes of the 1999 Kargil War.
The riders will carry an urn containing the soil from the National War Memorial, which will be ceremonially offered at the Kargil War Memorial.
