Prayagraj, Feb. 23 -- A fresh First Information Report (FIR) was registered on Monday against three absconding shooters accused in the alleged high-profile murder of lawyer Umesh Pal here in Uttar Pradesh three years back.
The accused - Guddu Muslim alias Guddu Bambaz, Armaan, and Sabir - each carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh, have been booked at the Airport Police Station for failing to comply with court orders.
The trio has been on the run since the sensational killing. According to Airport Station House Officer Vijay Kumar Singh, he himself filed the complaint after the accused failed to surrender despite the issuance of warrants by the court. The new case has been registered under charges related to contempt of court.
