Bengaluru, July 19 -- Karnataka's long-awaited Cabinet reshuffle has entered its final phase, with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge reportedly backing a generational reset that could bring the biggest political shake-up in DK Shivakumar government since it assumed office in 2023.

The proposed overhaul is expected to usher in a new set of ministers while ending the tenure of several incumbents, as the Congress leadership seeks to refresh the government midway through its term and address mounting pressure from legislators awaiting ministerial berths.
