Chennai, Sept. 27 -- At a time when the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has taken up the probe into the sexual assault on minor girls by R.Veeramani of Gem Granites, a fresh complaint has surfaced with a woman filing a complaint with the police that her daughter had committed suicide 10 years ago after being subjected to a similar assault.
In her complaint, the woman, seeking justice for her daughter, said she had approached Veeramani after hearing that he was providing educational assistance to children from economically weaker sections. He agreed to bear her daughter's school expenses and admitted her to a private school in Teynampet.
