Imphal, April 24 -- Three persons belonging to two different communities were killed in clashes on Friday at Ukhrul district. Two seriously injured persons were airlifted to Imphal for treatment. Manipur remains on the edges as bodies of three persons who died in CRPF firing on April 7 last were taken to the their respective places for the last rites today.
Police said three persons died in twin firing incidents the first one taking place near Mullam village. In another clash, two persons were also killed. Villagers including women and children were hiding in safe places as the clashes took place. Some houses were also burnt .
