Kolkata, Feb. 28 -- Fresh bomb threat emails were sent to government offices in multiple districts of West Bengal for the fourth consecutive day on Friday, triggering panic and evacuations.

In every case, standard security protocols were followed and searches yielded no results. The investigation has been handed over to the Special Task Force (STF) of the Kolkata Police. Officials said efforts are on to trace those behind the hoax emails, while urging the public not to panicThe emails were sent mainly to post offices and adjoining passport offices in at least four districts.
