Thiruvananthapuram, April 1 -- In a bid to boost voter turnout in the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections, Uber India has announced a special initiative offering free rides to voters in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam districts on polling day, April 9, 2026.
The initiative is being implemented in collaboration with the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala, aiming to ensure that lack of transportation does not prevent citizens from casting their votes.
