Thural, Jan. 21 -- Under the Road Safety Campaign, a free eye safety screening camp was organised at Government Civil Hospital Thural under the chairmanship of BMO Dr. Anita Kumari, Dr. Anjan Balia, and Superintendent Raman Kumar Sharma from the Regional Transport Office (RTO), Kangra, Dharamshala.
About 52 drivers, including members of taxi unions of Thural block, government and private school bus drivers, and private truck union drivers, participated in the camp. Free eye check-ups were conducted, and those found with weak eyesight were encouraged to use spectacles. This initiative is expected to help reduce road accidents in the future.
