Ramgarh, March 9 -- Four policemen were suspended after a scuffle broke out between devotees and security personnel at the Rajrappa temple in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district following a dispute over entry through the exit gate amid heavy rush, police said on Monday.

According to a press release issued by the office of the Superintendent of Police, Ramgarh, a large number of devotees had gathered at the temple on Sunday. To manage the crowd, authorities kept only the main entrance gate open while other gates remained closed. Police personnel, including JAP-04 jawans and staff from Rajrappa police station, were deployed from 6 am.
