New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- Four persons riding a two-wheeler (scooty) allegedly snatched a bag from a man containing around Rs 30 lakh in cash in East Delhi, police said on Friday.
A PCR call regarding the snatching had been received at around 11.30 am, the police said. The victim, Sanjay Jain, informed that he was proceeding to Gandhi Nagar from his residence, and on the way four persons allegedly snatched the bag he was carrying that contained cash.
The police team immediately responded to the call, and later a case of snatching was registered at the Krishna Nagar Police Station.
Looking at the gravity of the situation, multiple teams have been put together and deployed to trace and apprehend the accused persons invovled in the incident.
