Bhubaneswar, March 18 -- Four officials have been suspended following the tragic fire at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack on March 16. The action, taken on the directions of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, comes amid reports of negligence in duty.
The suspended officials include Prakash Kumar Jena, Deputy Fire Officer, Cuttack Circle,Sanjib Kumar Behera, Assistant Fire Officer, Cuttack Circle, Abhinav Prusti, Station Officer, SCB Medical and Hospital and Ranjan Kumar Bishwal, Assistant Executive Engineer, SCB Sub-Division, Cuttack.
