Hamirpur (Maudaha), April 28 -- Four members of a wedding procession lost their lives and three others were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a dumper truck and a Maruti van on National Highway-34 near Chhirka late Monday night.
According to police, the wedding party was traveling from Damar village in Kurara police station area to Khaddi Pehra village in Mahoba district.
Several members of the procession were in a Maruti van when the accident occurred. As the vehicle reached near Chhirka, a speeding dumper coming from the opposite direction collided with it, completely crushing the van.
The deceased have been identified as Mohan (20) from Urdana, Ashish (30) from Tinduhi, Kamlesh from Damar, and oneunidentified person. Th...
