Chandigarh, April 28 -- Punjab Police has arrested four individuals in connection with the recent explosion on the Ambala-Amritsar rail freight corridor near Rajpura, Patiala.

Addressing a press conference, DIG (Patiala Range) Kuldeep Chahal confirmed the arrests of Pradeep Singh Khalsa, Kulwinder Singh Banga, Satnam Singh Satta, and Gurpreet Singh Gopi. The operation also led to the recovery of an IED, two pistols, and live ammunition. Preliminary investigations suggest the module was operating under the direct instructions of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and radical Khalistani organizations based in Malaysia, with the objective of destabilizing peace in the state.
