Shamli, Nov. 8 -- A road accident claimed the lives of four youngters on the Panipat- Khatima Highway near the Butrada flyover. A Swift car traveling at high speed collided with a stationary canter parked on the roadside, resulting in a devastating crash, police said on Saturday.
The impact was extremely severe, the car was completely destroyed, and its parts were scattered along the road for nearly 100 meters. The roof of the vehicle was torn off, and all four occupants were trapped inside. Emergency teams had to cut open the car to remove the bodies. The canter also sustained heavy damage, with its rear portion and cabin badly crushed.
Police officials from Babri Police Station reached the scene immediately after receiving information. ...
