Nashik, June 12 -- Four people, including a woman, were drowned after being swept away by the current in the backwaters of Gangapur Dam today.
Three teenage boys and a married woman from Nashik city had gone to the backwaters of Gangapur Dam for an outing. Misjudging the depth of the water, one person ventured into deep water and began to drown. While attempting to rescue him, the other three were also swept away by the current.
