Bengaluru, June 9 -- Four youths from Kerala have been arrested for allegedly kidnapping former Karnataka Legislative Council member Dayananda Reddy and demanding a ransom of Rs2 crore in Bengaluru Rural district, police said on Tuesday.

The accused have been identified as C Praveen (28), Romy Martin (29), Achhu P alias Adarsh (25), and Antony M B alias Ashiq (31), all residents of Yadavanahalli in Anekal.

According to police, the incident took place around 12.30 am on Tuesday when Reddy was returning home from a club on Huskur Road.
