Beijing, Aug. 18 -- Alex Albon will remain with Williams for the 2027 Formula 1 season after committing his immediate future to the team despite its struggles under the sport's new technical regulations.
Williams announced the move as a one-year contract extension and a "renewed commitment," although Albon's existing multi-year agreement was already believed to cover 2027.
Reports suggest the confirmation relates to exit clauses in his contract rather than an entirely new deal. The 30-year-old London-born Thai driver has raced for Williams since 2022 and will enter his sixth season with the team next year.
