Kolkata, June 18 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Arup Biswas has written to a private bank requesting that all transactions from the party's account be suspended until the ongoing leadership dispute within the party is resolved, obviously putting the party in a spot of bother.

The letter, dated June 12 and received by the bank on June 16, was sent to the manager of the Central Plaza branch where the TMC maintains an account reportedly holding around Rs 675 crore, according to the party's audited report submitted to the Election Commission.
