Kolkata, Sept. 13 -- Erstwhile MLA Sujoy Hazra used to deliver money to Sumit Roy's office in connection with the Salboni land fraud case, according to the chargesheet filed by the West Bengal Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The CID chargesheet, submitted to the Midnapore court, has revealed details linked to the investigation into the case. It alleges that large sums of money, allegedly misappropriated through land fraud, were delivered to Roy's office.
Roy was the personal assistant to Trinamool Congress All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee.
