Chandigarh, April 22 -- Simranjit Singh Mann, former Member of Parliament and president of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), openly advocated for the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Pakistan's Field Marshal and Army Chief Asim Munir during a press conference in Amritsar on Wednesday.
Mann lauded Munir's diplomatic efforts in de-escalating regional tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, terming them a significant achievement for global stability.
