Hyderabad, June 18 -- Former Maoists, including Devji, Raji Reddy, Chandranna, Padmakka, Sanjeev and Bandi Prakash, met CPI(M) leaders at MB Bhavan in Hyderabad on Thursday and held discussions on recent political developments and public issues.
Addressing the media after the meeting, CPI(M) Telangana State Secretary John Wesley said people were facing numerous problems and exploitation, and called for united struggles to address these issues.
He urged former Maoists to participate in people's movements and demanded that restrictions imposed on them be lifted.
Wesley criticised the Centre's 'Operation Kagar,' alleging that it was being implemented in a repressive manner against Maoists.
