Tirumala (Andhra Pradesh), Oct. 5 -- Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, along with his wife Sophie Shine, offered prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Temple here on Monday.
Dhawan, who visited the hill shrine for the first time, participated in the early morning Suprabhata Seva and sought the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
Dhawan was dressed in a kurta and dhoti, while Sophie Shine wore a white suit.
The former cricketer appreciated the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) administration for making smooth arrangements for their visit.
Speaking after the darshan, Dhawan said it was his first visit to Tirumala and described the experience as wonderful.
