Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra (retired), who headed the Indian Air Force's Western Air Command during Operation Sindoor, has been appointed the first full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust that oversees the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
The decision was taken at the Trust's meeting on Wednesday. The new leadership structure names Mahesh Bhagchandka as treasurer. The organisation has also inducted three new trustees, Mahesh Bhagchandka, Madan Mohan Pandey and Dr Nirmala Yadav.
The appointment, marks a significant transition for the decorated fighter pilot, who retired from the IAF in April this year after a career spanning nearly four decades.
