Kolkata, May 15 -- The former minister of the food and supplies department Rathin Ghosh landed at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Salt Lake's CGO Complex for questioning on Friday morning regarding the public distribution and municipal recruitment scam.

Ghosh, a senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) functionary, had earlier skipped five summons issued by the central agency. On Friday, he entered the CGO Complex at around 11am.

Speaking briefly to reporters before entering the office, the Trinamool Congress leader claimed he was uncertain about the exact reasons behind the summons. "I don't know why they have called me," Ghosh said in the lobby of the CGO Complex before heading to the ED office.
