Prayagraj, Aug. 28 -- Former district panchayat member and local BJP leader Randhir Yadav, who had been missing since August 22, was found dead in Puramufti area of Prayagraj. His body was recovered in a severely decomposed condition near a railway track on Thursday, confirming fears raised after his sudden disappearance.
According to police, Yadav's death appears to be a case of premeditated murder. His close associate, Ram Singh, an employee of the Public Works Department (PWD), has been taken into custody for questioning. Authorities are also searching for another suspect, Dr. Uday (compounder), who is currently absconding.
