Kolkata, May 28 -- Former West Bengal Fire Services Minister Sujit Bose, who is now in jail custody after being arrested in connection with allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income and the civic bodies recruitment scam, on Thursday moved Calcutta High court challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

A petition to this effect has been filed in the Bench of Justice Sampa Dutta Paul of Calcutta High Court and is likely to be heard tomorrow.

On May 11, the Enforcement Directorate arrested the former minister following a 10-hour interrogation at its office in the Salt Lake CGO complex under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
